My GDD document didn't have enough detail to hand it over to someone like a programmer and for them to be able to create the game I wanted. So I updated my DunDoc. All my information for my game will be in my GDD DunDoc.
For now on unity tutorials will be about what I am going to add in for my game. Watching tutorials video will help me create the game I want to make. I already have a problem with my menu page. I follow everything from the video but it says I have an error. This is one of the reasons why I don't want to become a game designer. I don't like coding, it just confusing and I don't really get what is going on but hopefully, over time I know the basic coding. The video below, I had a problem adding in the TextMesh Pro. TextMesh Pro is just making the text clearer. Since I am having a problem with add that in I decided to leave it out. Other than that, the tutorial helped. This was another tutorial video I watched.
Hey Nhu!
ReplyDeleteI think its a cool idea that your game is both an adventure and puzzle game. I also like the story and key features. The timer is a great addition to the game because it will to help put pressure on the players who want to get a good score. Just wondering will you be able to play as other animals or will it just be the lion? What if you add a leaderboard to the game where players can have their names put beside their scores? It looks like you put a lot of thought into coming up with your idea. Good luck with making the game it has the potential to be really fun in my opinion.
Hey Nhu! Your game sounds amazing and really unique. It's great to see how you're developing your game in your game design document and getting a feel for what you want your game to be like. This is a nice Dundoc, maybe you could add some more information? I really like the story of your game and the background story of the animals which explains why they're trying to escape. The sound effects sound cool, I like how the zookeeper walking will be heard it makes it more realistic that way. It sounds like a fairly straightforward game but it also grabs my interest as the objective of the game is really intriguing to me. I'm wondering can the player choose what animal they want to play as? Maybe you could collect points and unlock a new animal! This game sounds really cool like the type of game I could get addicted to! Best of luck creating it:)
