This week, my group and I continue working on our game Tiny Farm, we talked about who will create the illustration for that level and how each level will look like. All levels will have either addition or subtraction.
While the girls were creating the final look for the level, I was working on the codes for the game. I had all the buttons set up all I had to do was relocate them and add in any effects I want. For example, the home page buttons is a fly in effect, this effect was in Adobe Animate. Adobe Animate gave a lot of different effects we could use. All we had to was select what you want to give an effect on so, in this case, it was the buttons. Once you selected that you then pick the effect you would like to use and click apply.
While I was working on that, Robyn sent me the home menu background. I started to apply the background to the game, we add in a few more animals and move the buildings around so the title of the game could fit in. At first, there weren't any clouds we thought the sky looked a little plain and decided to add it in and place it behind the title 'Tiny Farm'
I looked up how to make the windmill spin, I did this because I thought it would look great if it could move. It wasn't difficult, all I had to do was click on the windmill and make it a symbol. Instead of making it a button, you click the movie clip selection. Once I did that, on the side on Adobe Animate it says 'rotation', where it says direction select 'CW' which will move clockwise and change the number to how many times you would like to rotate it.
After Nicole was done with Level 1, I added it in the game. We changed the font for the question and colour when it says 'purple'
I am happy with how the game looks like and hope it will look like a professional kids game in the end.
